Steve Harley and Cockney Rebel, and Los Pacaminos feat Paul Young, are amongst the acts announced for acoustic, roots and folk music event Gate to Southwell Festival, which takes place from Thursday 6th to Sunday 9th June 2019 at Southwell, Nottinghamshire.

Other performers over the weekend include Sam Kelly and The Lost Boys, Skipinnish, Nancy Kerr, Blue Rose Code, and Gordie MacKeeman and his Rhythm Boys. There's also Americana from young California bluegrass band Blue Summit, the return of Truckstop Honeymoon from New Orleans, Malloca's BOC, Basque folk dance band Korrontzi, Austria's Hotel Palindrome, the Dutch harmonies of SYA (Suddenly Years Align), and French-born Flossie Malavialle. For all the line-up details so far please see the line-up page. Over the four days, Southwell will present a perfectly eclectic mix of more than 50 roots, World, acoustic and folk acts across four stages plus ceilidhs, dance sides, comedy, street theatre, poetry and top class children’s entertainment (including the return of genius juggler Dan The Hat)
