The first wave of acts have been revealed for the 14th edition of the Beat-Herder Festival, the festival of beats and baaminess featuring 20+ stages of drum & bass, psytrance, techno, and house music, with DJs, live acts plus comedians, and which is held in the Ribble Valley, Lancashire from Friday 12th until Sunday 14th July 2019.
Headlining the Main Stage will be Rudimental, Groove Armada (live), and Basement Jaxx (DJ set), joined there by The Sugarhill Gang & Melle Mel & Scorpio Furious Five, Henge, Dutty Moonshine Big Band, The Lancashire Hotpots, Dub Pistols, and Opiou.
On the Toil Trees Stage are Hannah Wants, Skream, Sonny Fodera, Michael Bibi, Latmun, La Fleur, and Purple Disco Machine. The corrugated iron Fortress hosts Benny L, Chris Lorenzo, Phibes, and S.P.Y, while The Ring stage has Utah Saints, Macky Gee, Metrik, DJ Hazard, Official Nancie, and Prospa. The Factory stage will have performances from The Showhawk Duo, The Shodigy, Warmduscher, and DJ Yoda.
Also announced today are Bontan, Illyus & Barrientos, Kettama b2b DJ Haus, Mr Scruff, Prok I Fitch, Boe & LX, Dr Alex Patterson (The Orb) (DJ set), Dutty Moonshine, Endor Featurecast, Gawp, Jaguar, JFB, Klose One, Krysko, Mooquee, Nicola Bear, Shaka Loves You, Davos, Digital Foundation ft Parly B & Tom Spirals, Doghouse Derelicts, Drum Machine, Dub Smugglers, Pink Floydian, Scalping, Screech Rock, Stu Penders, The Plimp Souls, and The Rubber Duck Orchestra.
Tickets are on sale, currently priced as follows:-
Adult weekend: £150
Youth (13-17) weekend: £90
Child (2-12) weekend: £30
Infant (under-2) weekend: free (but needs ticket)
Car park: £15
Campervan (small): £40
Campervan (large): £60
Car & Caravan: £60
All adult tickets are subject to a £5 refundable litter bond. This will be refunded at the festival when the ticket holder presents a full bag of litter at a litter bond station in the campsite or campervan field.
All children (including with youth tickets) must be accompanied to the festival by a parent, a legal guardian or a nominated guardian over the age of 30.
