The first 50 acts have been announced for the 13th edition of The Great Escape, which will feature hundreds of international and UK pop, cutting edge, hip hop, electronic, and rock acts showcased at around 60 different venues all over Brighton, East Sussex, and taking place from Thursday 9th until Saturday 11th May 2019.
In alphabetical order the acts are Askjell, Bea1991, Blackwave., Bobbie Johnson, Briet, Casey Lowry, Chappaqua Wrestling, Connie Constance, Crack Cloud, Dayo Bello, Dboy, Duendita, Ed The Dog, Emerson Snowe, Emily Burns, Fontaines D.C., Fuzzy Sun, Himalayas, Indoor Pets, JC Stewart, Jeffe, Jockstrap, Juniore, Jvck James, Kara Marni, Kawala, Krush Puppies, Kwengface, L Devine, LUCIA (pictured above), Mathilda Homer, Millie Turner, Nia Wyn, Penelope Isles, Pip Blom, Radiant Children, Rebecca Garton, Ren, Sam Tompkins, Self Esteem, Shey Baba, Sick Joy, Skynd, Squid, Steam Down, The Howl and The Hum, Tiana Major9, Walt Disco, Wooze, and Zuzu.
Early bird tickets are currently available, priced at £60 for a 3-day adult ticket. Note: over 18s only.
(in 2018 a full-price ticket cost £70).
A 3-day Festival ticket gives you access to the core venues, subject to each venues capacity. A small number of the shows will take place at The Dome in Brighton; to ensure guaranteed access to Dome Shows, attendees will be able to top up their festival wristband for a small fee, or purchase separate gig tickets.
