Cornwall's Looe Music Festival which was due to take place later this month from Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd September has been cancelled.

A statement on the festival's official website says:-

WE ARE VERY SORRY TO ANNOUNCE THAT THIS YEAR’S LOOE MUSIC FESTIVAL IS CANCELLED.
It is with much regret that Looe Music Festival (charity number 1152285 CIO) has ceased trading.

More information will be released in due course.

Acts announced for the festival included headliners Steve'n'Seagulls, The Waterboys, and The Stranglers, along with others including Martin Harley & Daniel Kimbro, Himalayas, Rhys Lewis, The Young 'Uns, Molotov Jukebox, Stephen James Smith, Los Pacaminos feat Paul Young, Gwenno, The Quireboys, PP Arnold, The Viewers, Baka Beyond, Coco & The Butterfields, Sam Kelly & the Lost Boys, Mad Dog Mcrea, The Correspondents, the London African Gospel Choir performing Paul Simon's Graceland, and many more.
