More acts have been announced for the 54th Cambridge Folk Festival, which take place from Thursday 2nd until Sunday 5th August 2018, at Cherry Hinton Hall Grounds, in Cambridge.

The new acts - some of whom perform more than once over the weekend - are Dublin singer Daoiri Farrell, singer/songwriter Robert Vincent, The Poozies, trio Drever McCusker Woomble, five-piece folk band Stick in the Wheel, Grace Petrie (pictured above), folk-hoppers HoneyFeet, Luke Daniels, trio Moore Moss Rutter, all-female 5-piece Kinnaris Quintet, Skye musician and piper Brighde Chaimbeul, duo Edgelarks, trio Vishten, Australia's William Crighton, Texas's Whiskey Shivers, Australian singer-songwriter Mark Lang, 'techno punk nutters' Punk Floyd, musical comedy from Peter Buckley Hill, 7-piece Americana from Morganway, and country and bluegrass from Swamptruck.

These join acts including headliners First Aid Kit, Patti Smith & her band, and John Prine, with other confirmed acts including Janis Ian (UK festival exclusive), Rosanne Cash, Kate Rusby & Friends, Beth Nielsen Chapman, Eliza Carthy and The Wayward Band, blues legend Eric Bibb, Americana pioneer Rhiannon Giddens, Songhoy Blues, St Paul and The Broken Bones, Elephant Sessions, John Smith, Marlon Williams, Pierce Brothers, and many more.
