The headliners and more have been announced for the 7th FolkEast festival which takes place from Friday 17th to Sunday 19th August 2018 on the 300 acres of parkland at Glemham Hall, in Suffolk.

The three headliners will be Oysterband, Show of Hands with Miranda Sykes, and The John Langan Band respectively, who'll be joined over the 3-days by 2018 BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards ‘Musician of the Year’ nominee Tim Edey, FolkEast debutee Irish Mythen, acapella singers The Wilsons, the trio of Michael McGoldrick, John McCusker & John Doyle, Peter Knight’s Gigspanner Big Band, plus Phillip Henry and Hannah Martin, Will Pound, The Cartographers, Greg Russell & Ciaran Algar, Rodney Branigan, Reg Meuross, Wild Willy Barrett's French Connection, The Magnificent AK47, Luke Daniels & His Amazing Polyphon, Winter Wilson, and Alden, Patterson & Dashwood.

FolkEast has music across 6 stages, one of which is open-air while the 5 others are covered. Along with the music there's Art Arcade, packed dance programme, archery, donkey rides, a mini golf course, children’s activities (including den building, storybook making and a mud kitchen), yoga, poetry, storytelling, the Eastfolk Chronicle Kinedrome (showing folk and local interest films) and tours of Glemham Hall by Major Philip Cobbold.
