Many more acts have been revealed for Meltdown Festival, which returns to the Southbank Centre in London, running from Friday 15th to Sunday 24th June 2018, curated this year by Robert Smith of The Cure.

Newly announced headliners at the Royal Festival Hall and Queen Elizabeth Hall are:- Death Cab For Cutie, God Is An Astronaut, Frightened Rabbit (pictured above), Low, Maybeshewill, Suzanne Vega and a special closing performance by Robert Smith and friends titled Curaetion-25.

Previously announced for the festival were:- DeftonesThe LibertinesManic Street PreachersMogwaiMy Bloody ValentineNine Inch NailsPlaceboThe Psychedelic Furs65daysofstaticAlcestThe AnchoressKristin HershKathryn JosephMono, and The Notwist.

Supporting the above acts and playing the Purcell Room will be:- Loop, The Joy Formidable, Jonsi, Alex Somers & Paul Corley: Liminal, Emma Ruth Rundle, Vex Red, Moon Duo, Joycut, Kiasmos, Jambinai, Vessels, pg.lost, And Also The Trees, Eat Static, The Soft Moon, The Church, Kaelan Mikla, Drahla, Fear of Men, The Anchoress, Kathryn Joseph, Matt Holubowski, Black Moth Super Rainbow, Jo Quail, James Walsh, Pumarosa, Tropic of Cancer, Indian Queens, Planning for Burial, Douglas Dare, Hilary Woods, Thought Forms, Kidsmoke, A Dead Forest Index, iLiKETRAiNS, The KVB, and The Twilight Sad.

Robert Smith commented on the completion of the line-up:
