collaborative Sons of Argyll to perform on Friday at Oban Live

More acts have been revealed for Oban Live, which will take place at Mossfield Park Stadium in Oban, Argyll, on Friday 8th and Saturday 9th June 2018.

Friday will see a unique performance by Sons of Argyll, an exclusive collaboration of 24 artists in the Scottish traditional music scene, playing homage to late figures from the region. The musicians involved in the project are:- Ian Smith of Trail West, Marie Fielding, Ross Wilson of Tide Lines, Seonaidh MacIntyre of Trail West, Anna Massie of Blazin’ Fiddles, Angus MacColl, Angus J MacColl, Stuart Liddell, Archie McAllister, Alex McAllister, Robert Robertson, Sileas Sinclair, Oban Gaelic Choir, Mary Catherine MacNeil, Alasdair Currie, Johnny Scoular, Campbell Brown, Craig McFadyen, Hector McFadyen, Martin Gillespie, Daniel Gillespie, Angus MacPhail, Rachel Walker, and Phil Cunningham.

Also announced today are:- Sharon Shannon ft Michael McGoldrick and Susan O'Neill (pictured above), Hudson Taylor, and Chunks.

They join a line-up that already includes Skippinish, Blazin' Fiddles, Skerryvore, Hermitage Green and Heron Valley.
