More music, plus spoken-word and cabaret artists have been announced for The Green Gathering, returning for a seventh year to Piercefield Park of Chepstow, in Monmouthshire and held from Thursday 3rd until Sunday 6th August 2017.

The new music additions are Loonaloop, Nik Turner's New Space Ritual, The High Breed, The King Driscolls, The Tiny Minds, Neil Pike, and Pagan Love Cult.

Spoken word and cabaret artist are Salena Godden, Cornucopia Theatre Company, Pete (The Temp) Bearder, Emma Purshouse, Jamie Bevan, Steve Kaos, and Poeterry.

These join a line-up that includes Transglobal Underground, John Fairhurst, Calico Jack, Smiling Ivy, Catrin O'Neill, Neck, Kangaroo Moon, The Don Bradmans, and more. For all the music names so far please see the line-up page.

Live music and DJs are just one aspect of this off grid festival. A Speakers' Forum provides a platform for key Green thinkers such as Green Party economist, MEP and Bristol West candidate Molly Scott Cato; New Internationalist editor Jamie Kelsey Fry; and Tamasin Cave of Spinwatch. The Glad Apple Bar hosts informal acoustic music sessions; and The Raconteurs' Delight provides a spoken word and cabaret arena for poets, comedians and physical theatre.
