House Gospel Choir, Yonaka, Felix Dickinson & more for Citadel Festival 2017

two new stages of acts, joining Foals, Bonobo & more

More acts have been announced for two stages for Citadel, the one day festival which returns to London's Victoria Park on Sunday 16th July 2017, plus a little about mysterious act A Blaze Of Feather has been revealed too.

Citadel is proud to host A Blaze of Feather's very first festival in the capital. Mystery has shrouded the project over recent months which has Ben Howard's band explore the song's of their long term guitarist Mickey Smith. A Blaze of Feather is the first signing on Ben Howard's record label Hell Up Records. 'Carousel' the beautiful lead track from "A Blazes" debut EP released May 5th has been spinning on air this past week.

New for the Corona Sunsets Stage are House Gospel Choir with a Frankie Knuckles tribute, soul and disco from Felix Dickinson, and Amp and Deck, afrobeat from Soothsayers, Supa Dupa Fly's Emily Rawson, Cal Jader and The Pomba Girls, 'opera reggae' from Enne, and Lauren Thompson.

The Kopperberg Urban forest Stage has also been announced, with Brighton rock four-piece Yonaka, Oscar Jerome, grunge-psyche from Cosmic Strip, folk from Aldous Harding, R&B vocalist Xamvolo, Bristol newcomer Stevie Parker, and electro-indie from Tamu Massif.

These join acts including headliners Foals (UK festival exclusive), with Bonobo (live), Wild Beasts, Laura Marling, Michael Kiwanuka, A Blaze Of Feather, Ry X, Maggie Rogers, Sylvan Esso, Oumou Sangare, Bombino, and many more on the festival's five stages, as well as the normal festival fayre from great food stalls, with a wide selection of wines, ales and spirits on offer to wish it down. For all the music details so far please see the line-up page.
