Frightened Rabbit to headline Scotland's Electric Fields 2017

Frightened Rabbit have been announced as the first headliner for Electric Fields, which will take place over two days this year on Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd September 2017, at Drumlanrig Castle, Thornhill, Dumfries and Galloway, in Scotland.

Joining them on the bill are The Jesus and Mary Chain, Arab Strap, And Yet It Moves, Crash Club, Brat and the Bonemen, with many more acts to be announced over the coming weeks and months.

Returning for another year are Edinburgh's Sneaky Pete's who will again curate their own electronica stage, and Tim Burgess will bring back his own curated 'Tim Peaks Diner' experience, along with the Food Village, a Ale and Craft Beer Festival. This year will also feature comedy, spoken word and film with Q&As from some very special guests. For the young one's the "Our Kids Electric" area returns with a whole host of entertainment and workshops.

Tickets are priced at £95 for the weekend. A 13-17 teens weekend ticket is priced at £55, a child (aged 6-12 years) weekend ticket is priced at £20, a campervan pass is £65, and children aged under 5 year can attend free, but need a ticket.
