Scouting For Girls are the first act to be announced for the 3rd annual Cottingham Folk Festival.

The trio will be closing the festival headlining The Civic Hall on Sunday 27th August with a set featuring classic tracks 'It's Not About You', 'She's So Lovely', 'Elvis Ain't Dead', 'Heartbeat' and 'I Wish I Was James Bond' .

The Cottingham Folk Festival returns in summer 2017. Hosted in various venues in the East Yorkshire village of Cottingham across the August bank holiday weekend from Friday 25th to Sunday 27th August 2017.

They join a line-up that includes Red Hot Chilli Pipers, Lucy Spraggan, Scott Matthews, Jess and The Bandits, Blackbeard's Tea Party, Laura Oakes, Luke & Mel, The Mighty and the Moon, and Fudgey.

Early bird tickets are priced at £75 for the weekend.

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
