more than 20 new acts for Download Festival 2017

Many more acts have been announced for the 15th Download Festival, which takes place at Donington Park over the weekend of Friday 9th to Sunday 11th June 2017

In alphabetical order, the new names are Airbourne, Alter Bridge, Astroid Boys, Basement, Clutch, Coheed & Cambria, Crown The Empire, DevilDriver, Exodus, Four Year Strong, God Damn, Good Charlotte, Greywind, Issues, Knuckle Puck, Lost Society, Mastodon, Ministry, Opeth, Pierce The Veil, Red Fang, Sum 41, The Dead Daisies, The One Hundred, and Wakrat ;

They join the previously announced headliners of System of a Down, Biffy Clyro, and Aerosmith, and more. For the full deatils so far please see the Download Lineup page..

In total around 150 acts appear over five stages over the three days of the festival. There are no other acts confirmed yet for 2017 fans can expect three days of heavy rock music featuring around 150 acts over five stages at Donington Park, the spiritual home of rock!

Tickets will also be available on the ticket deposit scheme at no extra cost, allowing fans to pay a small deposit to secure their ticket and then settle with equal monthly payments.
