Foo Fighters are the first headlining act announced for next year's line-up for Roskilde Festival in Denmark.
This will be their only Scandinavian show at Roskilde Festival next summer, and their first appearance at the festival since 2005. They join the first 14 acts confirmed who are Moderat and Modeselektor, Trentemoller, 67, Afenginn, Angel Olsen, G-Eazy, Gangly, Hieroglyphic Being, Jenny Hval, Marching Church, Mats Gustaffson's Nu Ensemble "Hidros Zap", Of Mice & Men, Pig Destroyer, and Romperayo. Many more acts will be announced before Christmas.
Head of Programme Anders Wahrén said, "Foo Fighters is undoubtedly one of the biggest rock bands in the world, and we have wanted them back for a long time. We’re thrilled that it finally panned out so we can welcome them back to Roskilde Festival for their only Scandinavian show next summer.
"They are a perfect act for Orange Stage with their unique ability to create a sense of togetherness and excitement. Their concerts the past few years serve as further proof that they are as vital as ever before."
