As early bird tickets go on sale at 9am today, Monday 7th November, for next year's Isle Of Wight Festival, it's been revealed Arcade Fire will headline the Saturday night of Seaclose Park on the Isle of Wight Festival as a UK festival exclusive.

The Canadian band who released their fourth studio album ‘Reflektor’ in October 2013 will make the the Isle Of Wight Festival their only UK festival of the Summer and their first UK festival performance since 2014.

Isle of Wight Festival Promoter, John Giddings, said, "I'm so happy to have secured Arcade Fire as our first headliner. David Bowie recommended them and I’ve been a fan ever since. Last year was an incredible year and I’m ready for us to come back even better in 2017."

The festival which offers top rock and indie names, legendary acts, and rising stars, on a large main stage, smaller tented stage, and smaller stages in a relaxed festival atmosphere returns for a 16th year from Thursday 8th until Sunday 11th June 2017.
