The Charlatans have been announced as the Saturday headliners at this summer's Sportbeat Festival.

They join the previously announced Sunday headliners Happy Mondays, and the reccently announced Jaguar Skills, and Coasts, plus Echo and the Bunnymen, Duke, and Ngod who were the first acts to be announced, many more acts will be announced over the coming days.

Festival organiser, Jody Gooding’s said, "The Charlatans have been high on the list of performers we’ve wanted to bring to SportBeat, since we started, in 2013. I know Gloucester love them and it's great to have them back in the City. Their last gig was at GL1 in 1997."

The festival offers Music, Sports and Culture with a Gloucester flavour and eco-friendly overtones for all the family. The dates for the 4th annual event have been confirmed as Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st August again at Oxstalls Sports Park, in Gloucester, Gloucestershire.
