Scouting For Girls will close Sunday night's main stage at the Midlands' biggest three-day FREE festival Godiva Festival, attracting over 100,000 people from Friday 1st until Sunday 3rd July 2016 at War Memorial Park.

Roy Stride, lead singer of Scouting for Girls, said, "We’re delighted to be playing this year's Godiva Festival in Coventry, we've played Coventry before and we look forward to a hopefully nice, sunny Sunday afternoon to give the crowds a great performance!"

Boomtown Rats headline Friday, The Charlatans are the headline act for Saturday, and their support comes from Space, and Mystery Jets. There are no other acts confirmed yet.

David Nuttall, Head of Service for Sports, Culture, Destination and Business Relationships at Coventry City Council, said, "We're really pleased that we have all three of our headline bands now confirmed with The Boomtown Rats, The Charlatans and Scouting For Girls making up our 2016 line up. We are still confirming more acts and bands to our line up, including artists for Saturday’s Rhythm Tent and Sunday’s Tent so there will be more announcements over the coming weeks."

Godiva will be covering music to suit all tastes and featuring the ever-popular Godiva Unsigned, showcasing fresh, local talent.

There's something for everybody to enjoy, from the comedy tent to the family field, vintage market and charity village, greenspace tent, kids tent and funfair, all alongside a host of community stalls.
