One Love Festival reveals more acts including Max Romeo, and The Congos

Champion sound systems come together at the UK's only annual reggae camping festival, One Love, for The Battle of The Dubplates 2016.

Each year the event searches for a new Champion Sound with battling sound systems drawn from the Foundation Sound Systems that started in the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s for their annual Sound Clash. This year the Sound System legends coming together in one arena are Sir Coxsone Outernational, Java Nuclear Power, Stereophonic Sound, Qualitex Sound, Lord Gelly's Sound System, Love Express, Mackabee Studio International, and GI Roadshow.

The event which happens from Friday 2nd until Sunday 4th September 2016, returns to Hainault Forest Country Park, in London in a permanent move after being a fairly nomadic event relocating for almost a decade has also announced more names for the line-up, led by Max Romeo, The Congos, and a Blacker Dread Records showcase, the new additions also include Capital Letters, Macka B, Don Campbell, Disciples, Smith & Mighty, Mixmaster Morris, General Roots, Nucleus Roots, Robin Catto, Dan Wiltshire, Salutation Dub Collective, Chris Dubflow ft Bigga Baloo, Babilondon, One Style MDV, Wendy Walker, Aurelia Dey, Direct Impact, Ben Russell and The Charmers, The Downsetters, Josephine and The Artizans, Lion Star, Junior Dread, Flying Muses, Konquerin Soundz, and LPOJ Sound.

The event created in recognition of one of the world's greatest ever rock gig, Bob Marley's famous 1978 'One Love' concert, will host Lee Scratch Perry, The Gladiators, I Kong, Sister Nancy, Brinsley Forde, Natty, and Bass Odyssey meets Saxon Sound System (40th Anniversary Special), King Addies Sound, Gaudi, Adrian Sherwood, Mad Professor, The Underclass ft. The early bird offer has ended. An adult (aged 16+) ticket is priced at £140 including camping. teen's tickets (for those aged 14 to 17 years) are priced at £80, a child (aged 10 to 13 years) ticket is priced at £40. Children aged under 10 years can attend for free. A live in vehicle is priced at £50 and a car parking ticket is priced at £10. Day tickets are also available priced at £35 for adults, and £15 for teens and £10 for children (aged 10 to 13 years). Day tickets for children aged under 10 years are free.

Please note that all under 16 year olds must be accompanied to the festival by an adult.

An adult cannot be responsible for more than 4 under 18 year olds each. Proof of age for child tickets may be required on site. Live in vehicle tickets will be available at a later date.
