line-up announced for Scotland's Kelburn Garden Party

Hiatus Kaiyote and James Lavelle lead the first acts announced for Kelburn Garden Party which takes place at Kelburn Castle and park, near Largs on Scotland's West coast from Friday 1st to Sunday 3rd July 2016.

The Kelburn Garden Party is an intimate affair set in a magical environment the site of the Graffiti Project. The main stage is set on a natural lawn surrounded by ancient trees, and under the gaze of the surreally painted Kelburn Castle.

Appearing on the Square Stage with Hiatus Kaiyote will be Admiral Fallow, The SoulJazz Orchestra, Stanley Odd, Colonel Mustard and Dijon Five, The Tinderbox Orchestra, Cera Impala & The New Prohibition, Fat Suit, Kirsten Adamson, James Brown Is Annie, King Eider, The Strange Blue Dreams, Macmaster / Hay, Samba Ya Bamba, Harry Bird & the Rubber Wellies, Green Diesel, Nipples Of Venus, and Heid Ceilidh Band.

The Viewpoint Stage's line-up sees James Lavelle presents UNKLESOUNDS, The Correspondents, A Skillz, Rocketnumbernine, Denis Sulta, Reggae Roast ft. Brother Culture, Harleighblu, Cosmo Sheldrake, Sorceress, J-Star & McHoney Brown, Big Swing Soundsystem, Extra Love, Sea Bass Kid, Mango Rescue Team, New Urban Frontier, The Blueswater, The Micro Band, DarkSoul, Soundbone Plays Led Zepellin, Spliff Richards & The Snapping Turtles, IFRO, GK Machine, and DJ Astrojazz.

The Pyramid Stage will host Sacred Paws, Happy Meals, Shield Patterns, Have Mercy La Vegas, Bella and the Bear, Be Charlotte, Tongues, Cowtown, Game_Program, Apostille, and Bratakus.

Whilst on The Landing will be Chapel Perilous Dex'n'Drums'n'FX ft. Conscious Route, Kelvin 373 & Gardna, Dave Shades, Battle Of The Zoo, Escape Roots & Tom Spirals, Lionoil Industries Takeover, Sketch The Rhyme, and Callum Easter will take to the The Landing Stage.

A new venue Smugglers will host Balkanarama ft The Turbans, John Langan, Electric Jalaba, Cocos Lovers, and Samedia DJs.

Lastly The Saloon will showcase Electrikal Sound System Block Party, Kelburn Funk Club ft. Krash Slaughta, WeeG, Johnny Cashback & Andy Taylor, Rebecca Vasmant, and Intergalactic Funk Smugglers.

Tier 3 tickets are priced at £104, tickets for 5-12 year olds are priced at £25, with those aged 0-5 years still able to attend for free. Prices do not include booking fees.

The gardens will be home to The Kelburn Art Trail, The Too Much Fun Club at The Beech Plateau, The Lost Horizon Showcase, Magical Mystery Tours, The Secret Forest 'Living Theatre' Project, Making Things Happen with The Girobabies, Roberta’s Chan Bang, The Kelburn Funk Club, The Lullaby Collective, and Late Night Cabaret.

Expect good food, bars, chill-out areas, stalls, cinema, BBQ, woodland walks, pop-up gigs in the glen & gardens, an adventure playground, a candlelit ceilidh, jam sessions, poetry, comedy & spoken word, kids games & zones, Lazer Quest, lighting installations, family camping, crafts, Friday night warm-up party, the secret forest project, gigs in the glen & gardens, kids play zone, lighting installations, drumming on the hill, workshops, glen walks & waterfall pools, local craft ales and cider, cocktails, family camping and more.
