Belgium's Rock Werchter which takes place from Thursday 30th June to Sunday 3rd July happening in Werchter in Rotselaar, Belgium has added Iggy Pop, Kaiser Chiefs, Skunk Anansie, Jake Bugg, Trixie Whitley, Glen Hansard, SX, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, BadBadNotGood, and Jagwar Ma.

Rock Werchter boss Herman Schueremans said, of his forthcoming performing on Thursday 30th June, "The number 1 on my wish list. Paul McCartney is one of the last really big names to be missing from our rich festival history. Sometimes such a high profile visit is purely a matter of luck. The artist must be performing and the diaries have to fit. This time it all worked out. Every generation has its McCartney classic. He has inspired so many musicians, and is still doing so today. I am looking forward to the concert."

Paul McCartney added, "We’ve been having so much fun at different festivals around the world in recent years and I can’t wait to get to Belgium with the band for our first festival there. I’ve heard such great things about Rock Werchter so I know it’s going to be a big night of rock n’roll and partying to remember."

They join At The Drive-In, Band of Horses, Bear’s Den, Beirut, Black Box Revelation, Bring Me The Horizon, Courtney Barnett,  Daughter, Disclosure, Editors, Ellie Goulding, Florence + the Machine, Gary Clark Jr.,  Guy Garvey,  Jamie xx,  Låpsley, MØ Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, New Order, Oh Wonder, Parov Stelar, Paul Kalkbrenner, Paul McCartney, PJ Harvey, Rammstein, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Richard Hawley, Robert Plant and the Sensational Space Shifters, Savages, Sigma Live, Tame Impala, The Last Shadow Puppets, The Offspring, Two Door Cinema Club, Unknown Mortal Orchestra and Years & Years, plus Gutterdammerung - the silent film with a live soundtrack.
