Young Fathers, Gogo Penguin, and Hot 8 Brass Band are the first acts to be announced for Farmfestival which returns for to Bruton, in Somerset over Friday 29th and Saturday 30th July 2016..

Also confirmed are My Baby, Shilpa Ray, Plastic Mermaids, Rachael Dadd, Pete Josef, Holy Two (France), Haiku Salut, Afriquoi (DJ Set), Matuki, Desert Sound Colony, Rhain, Tamu Massif, Antimatador, The Flamenco Thief, ThisisDA, Titus Monk, Passion Bel Canon, Gilles Peterson, Lone, Kowton, Bentley Rhythm Ace, Lefto, Jon K, and Franklin.

Plus Shapes Stage Takeover, Late Night Tales, Crucial & Fresh, Cor Takeover, and Vintage Mobile Disco

More acts and DJs will be announced over the coming months ahead of the festival at the end of July.

An adult weekend ticket is priced at £67, and a teen (aged 12 to 17 years) is priced at £49, children under 12 can attend free. A campervan pass is priced at £30.

Farmfestival is not corporate in any way, and promotes and showcases local, regional and national bands on two stages, the main stage and the tent stage. Music includes, rock, pop, indie, ska, reggae, dub, blues and folk.

Oh, and don't forget to wear a hat, it's compulsory (and the best hats gets free tickets to next year's festival!).
