Primal Scream, and We Are Scientists are the latest headlining acts to be announced for Lakefest, which returns for a 5th year this summer, held at a new location Eastnor Castle, the former site of The Big Chill Festival, from Thursday 11th to Sunday 14th August 2016.

Starsailor were the first headlining act confirmed for 2016. Further additions to the line-up will be announced in the coming months.

Lee Martin, Lakefest Director, said, "We have put a huge amount of work into building the right line-up for this year, and I’m so excited to share this latest news with our loyal supporters. Lakefest 2015 exceeded all of our expectations and was a staggering success for the team. When we sat down in August to plan 2016 we already knew he who we wanted on our stage for 2016 and it’s a dream come true to be able to take the festival forward in such an immense way.

"There is obviously an impressive change of venue to take into account for this year and so many new and exciting things set to take place. We stick to our roots and are four guys who had a vision to put together a music festival – ensuring that the right music is in place is our priority. We couldn't be happier with how things are shaping up and want everyone to come along and enjoy what is 12 months in the making. It’s a hobby for us, it’s our passion, and it’s going to be awesome!"

With development set to happen on the festival's familiar home site at Croft Farm Waterpark, near Tewkesbury. The festival moves this year to a larger site in order to accommodate larger crowd numbers. In addition to this, Croft Farm Land Owner, Alan Newell, is developing a holiday village, in the field in which Lakefest is currently held.
