Elton John and his band perform at Nocturne's concert series which returns for a 2nd year to take place in Blenheim Palace's Great Court between Thursday 23rd, and Sunday 26th June 2016.

Elton said, "I remember my first show in Oxford – towards the end of our 1972 tour of the UK with the great Linda Lewis on support – and am so glad to be playing my first show there in 10 years."

The first headliner to be announced for next year’s event pianist, singer and songwriter Elton John will be making his Blenheim Palace debut and will perform a hit-laden set with his band drawing on classic songs from his extensive back catalogue as well as music from recently announced 33rd studio album 'Wonderful Crazy Night'.

More acts will be confirmed soon for the remaining dates of the Nocturne concert series.

Ticket prices start at £50 and go on general sale on Friday November 27th at 9am, and we'll have links to buy them here then.

Nocturne at Blenheim Palace will also provide champagne receptions, fine-dining and banquet packages available inside the State Rooms (including the Long Library) of the 12th Duke of Marlborough’s family home, The Orangery and waterside picnicking.

Blenheim Palace is set in 2100 acres of 'Capability' Brown landscaped parkland in the heart of the Oxfordshire Cotswolds. The 300 year old palace is a World Heritage site located 8 miles out of Oxford.
