Reading & Leeds reveal Alternative Stage line-up

The line-up of acts appearing on the The alternative Stage have been announced for Reading and Leeds Festivals over the August Bank Holiday weekend.

Heading up the comedy is Milton Jones, Rob Delaney, and Russell Kane, also confirmed to appear at both sites are George The Poet, Katherine Ryan, Seann Walsh, Sara Pascoe, Holly Walsh, Abandoman, Nick Helm, Daniel Sloss, Tom Deacon, Andrew O'Neill, Joel Dommett, Luisa Omielan, Matt Richardson, Alex Edelman, Dane Baptiste, and Paul McCaffrey.

Appearing only at Leeds will be Piff The Magic Dragon, Stephen K Amos, Adam Buxton, Mark Grist, Jaguar Skills, and Max Cooper, whilst bound for Reading are Tiffany Stevenson, WitTank, David Morgan, and Suzi Ruffell.

Transgressive’s Alternative Stage Takeover on the Saturday and Sunday nights in Leeds, the stage will run from 9.30pm until late, featuring a host of emerging and established talent throughout the weekend including Wiley, Jackmaster, Novelist, Madame X, and DJ Target.

At Reading the Silent Disco in the Alternative Stage will feature Alt-J (DJ Set), Palma Violets (DJ Set), Peace (DJ Set), Huw Stephens, and Jen Long. Plus parties from Buttoned Down Disco and a series of extra special Propaganda DJ sets from The Libertines' Gary Powell, and Rave Karaoke (Leeds), and The Kooks' Hugh Harris (Reading).

Reading Festival takes place at Little Johns Farm, Richfield Avenue, Reading, Berkshire, and Leeds Festival takes place at Bramham Park, Leeds, West Yorkshire with both events happening over the weekend of Friday 28th to Sunday 30th August 2015.

Day tickets for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday are priced at £59.50.

Tickets are on sale priced at £205 and postage fees will apply per order, with a Wednesday early entry permit priced at £19.50, a car park pass is priced at £9.50, locker hire is £15.50 for the weekend, and a campervan pass is priced at £74.

Children under 13 (12 and under) are admitted free but MUST be accompanied by a ticket holding adult. Please note there is no separate children's area at this event, and eFestivals considers this an event not really suitable for small children.

Note: Tickets will not be on sale at the gate. There will be no box office of any kind. All tickets will be sent out to customers.

Securing your ticket is even easier with the £50 instalment plan, and pay the balance in monthly instalments.
