The Wickerman Festival unveils Bass Camp dance village line-up

Scotland's Wickerman festival happening on Friday 24th and Saturday 25th July 2015 has announced it's dance line-up.

Appearing on the Bass Camp dance village this year will be Eddie Halliwell, Felix Leiter, Plump DJs, Sonny Wharton, Justin Robertson, Kid Blast, Luke Stanger, James Ryan, Matt Hinde, Matt Thiss, and Beats of Rage.

Dance enthusiasts can also enjoy hip shakin, body poppin, soul swinging outdoor vibes at The Terrace, whilst the popular Headphone Disco will keep people raving quietly on the Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights in the Headphone Arena, nestled alongside Bass Camp.

Rich Dyer, Wickerman Festival’s Bass Camp Booker commented, "Every year Bass Camp brings a great mix of DJs to the Festival and this year is no exception. We are really excited to announce a whole host of stars such as Eddie Halliwell and Plump DJs and are looking forward to seeing the dance floor erupt with some unforgettable performances."

They join the previously announced headliners The Waterboys, Tom Odell, Squeeze, and Lulu, plus Jimmy Cliff, The Sonics, Neneh Cherry, Stereo MC's, Julian Cope, The Sugarhill Gang, John Cooper Clarke, Steve Ignorant, Errors, Withered Hand, The Phantom Band, Youth Man, PAWS, Holy Mountain,  Example & DJ Wire, This is the Kit, The Saints, Pere Ubu, TV Smith, Hector Bizerk, The Amphetameanies, The Ramonas, Ela Orleans, Esperanza, Halfrican, Tuff Love, Zyna Hel, Bossy Love, Skies Fell, Ubre Blanca, Miaoux Miaoux, Sluts of Trust, Washington Irving, Kathryn Joseph, Martha Ffion, Aaron Fyfe, Blochestra, Tommy Reilly, Man of Moon, Kobi Onyame, C Duncan, Mogen, Outerblinker, Rob Lynch, Shield Patterns, Kids On Bridges, and DJ duo Optimo.

As always, the weekend festivities will be brought to a spectacular close with the crowd-gathering tradition of burning the 40ft Wickerman statue at midnight on Saturday.

Sited on the 120 acre East Kirkcarswell Farm, near Dundrennan, South West Scotland, in deepest Galloway, the festival welcomes families, and features two main stages, as well as a dance area, acoustic tent, a campsite, trade stalls, alternative area, bars, and food stalls.

Tickets are priced at £110 for weekend adult tickets and £55 for weekend concession tickets, with children aged 12 and under able to attend for free. A campervan/caravan pitch is priced at £55 or £105 with an electric hook up. There are also VIP, and camping options available.
