Calvin Harris to headline Glasgow Summer Sessions

Calvin Harris has been announced as the first headline for DF Concerts & Events series of concerts, Glasgow Summer Sessions, in the city's Bellahouston Park.

The superstar DJ will perform on Sunday 30th August with support from Ellie Goulding, John Newman, Disciples, and Burns, the full line-up to be unveiled in the coming weeks.

Geoff Ellis, CEO of DF Concerts & Events, said, "Following on from his incredibly memorable headline performance at last year’s T in the Park, this will be Calvin’s first headline at an outdoor show in Scotland – so we are thrilled that it will be at Glasgow Summer Sessions. Calvin has previously played two sell-out dates at The Hydro and has toured the world playing his chart-topping tracks, so this will be an incredible gig that shouldn’t be missed."

Tickets will be available to over 18s only, and go on sale at 9am on Friday 6th March, and eFestivals will have links to buy them then.

Bus packages will be available in conjunction with Citylink from all major cities in Scotland and the North of England direct to Bellahouston Park. Additionally, a shuttle bus service will be available on the day of the event making return journeys from Buchanan Street Bus Station to Bellahouston Park. The fare will be payable upon boarding.
