line-up announced for Rewind North headlined by Human League and OMD

The Human League, and Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark will headline this the 2nd year of Rewind North held at Capesthorne Hall in Cheshire the dates are the weekend of Friday 7th until Sunday 9th August 2015,one of the the triple Rewind Festivals celebrating the 1980's decade .

The line-up will include Soul II Soul, Kim Wilde, Belinda Carlisle, Howard Jones, Jimmy Somerville, Steve Augeri, Wang Chung, Chesney Hawkes, The Sugarhill Gang, The South, and Katrina Leskanich (ex Katrina & The Waves) joining The Human League on Saturday.

Sunday's acts topped by OMD will be Boomtown Rats, Bananarama, ABC, The Selecter, Heather Small, Kid Creole and the Coconuts, Imagination... (feat...Leee John), Dave Edmunds, Hue and Cry, Doctor and the Medics, and John Parr.

Tickets go on sale at 9am this Friday, 23rd January and eFestivals will have links to buy them then.

Billed as a celebration of 80's music and artists the triple event also returns to Scotland for the fifth time held at Scone Palace, in Perth, Scotland over the weekend of  Friday 24th until Sunday 26th July 2015, and for the seventh year to Temple Island Meadows, near Henley On Thames over the weekend of Friday 21st until Sunday 23rd August 2015.

In addition to music entertainment, the festival will also feature plenty of fun-filled side attractions including the Silent Disco, Live Karaoke Bar, Funfair, Posh Nosh, Theme Bars, plus Camping and Glamping (aka Glamorous Camping) options.

Other festival attractions include The Silent Disco where they provide everyone with a set of headphones and have two DJs spinning the tunes simultaneously on two separate channels, leaving you to flick between them and listen to the music you want to throw your best shapes to!
