Latitude reveals more line-up additions

Latitude Festival have revealed more acts appearing over the weekend of Thursday 17th to Sunday 20th July 2014 at Henham Park Estate, in Suffolk.

Newly added to the Film & Music Arena are solo violinist and songwriter Diana Yukawa, plus Theo Parrish, Amp Fiddler, Akwasi Mensah, Duminie Deporres And Myele Manzanza, The Bee's Knees, Elle & The Pocket Belles, and DJ Tofu & Swing Patrol.

Other additions are Ibibio Sound Machine, Ghostpoet, James Bay, and Broken Twin.

Guests announced for the Literary Arena are Miles Hunt, The Humble Quest For Universal Genius, Mr. Bingo, What Next?, Elizabeth Pisani, and Emma Carr

The Poetry Arena will host Janice Long, Jemima Foxtrot, Deanna Rodger, Charlotte Higgins, Tommy Sissons, Ben Norris, and Carmina Masoliver, while the Comedy line-up sees the additions of Elliot Steel, Matt Richardson, and Tom Price.

Elsewhere in Pandora’s Playground The Urban Playground present The Inner City, Leeds Met presents Offline, and UEA Drama And Vaguely Amusing Productions present The Question.

This year the Faraway Forest will also be home to the Wellcome Trust, with Prof. Paul Dolan, Prof. Sophie Scott, Kerry Daynes And Tom Ziessen, Prof. Barbara Sahakian And Dr. Robin Carhatt-Lewis, Dr. Roland Zahn, Dr. Geoff Warburton And Prof. Robin Choudhury, Dr. Vaughan Bell, Dr. Charles Fernyhough, Julian Baggini And Dr. Catherine Pendergrass, Prof. David Spiegelhalter Obe, Dr. Sandrine Thuret And Dr Morgaine Gaye, A R Hopwood icw Dr. James Ost, and Zoe Cormier.

On the Waterfront Stage The Cut will present Molière’s Sganarelle. The site will also feature design presentations from Isobel Black, Rosie Jenkins, Jo Symmons & Ben Powell.

An adult weekend ticket is priced at £187.50 (+ booking fee) with a Family Camping option also available, a teen weekend ticket is priced at £132.50 (+ booking fee), with a weekend ticket for all children aged 5 -12 years priced at £5 (no booking fee). Campervan permits are priced at £40/£60/£80 (depending on size).

Latitude isn't just about music and colourful sheep, but has a full spectrum of art including film, comedy, theatre, cabaret, dance, poetry, literature and art.

This year Latitude's theme will be Secrets, exploring the difficult relationship between the private and public worlds of individuals, communities and wider society.
