Reading & Leeds add another 50 acts

Reading & Leeds Festivals have added a host of new additions to the line-up for August bank holiday weekend.

Added to the NME/Radio 1 Stage line-up are Gerard Way, Schoolboy Q, Maverick Sabre, DZ Deathrays and La Dispute.

New additions for the Radio One Dance Stage are Sigma, Indiana, Rufus, Panama, Kove, Mo, Lxury, and Billion.

Muncie Girls, Masked Intruder, Emily's Army, and Vales join the Lock Up Stage and The Pit will host We Came As Romans, Crosses, Brutality Will Prevail, Lesser Key, The Hell, and Beasts, 

King Charles, Southern, We Are Scientists, The Amazing Snakeheads, American Authors, Little Matador, The Minutes, Leaders Of Men, The Sunshine Underground, The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart, Sivu, Drowners, Lucius, and Saint Raymond are added to the Festival Republic Stage.

With BBC Radio 1Xtra Stage new names including MistaJam, Raleigh Ritchie, Dirty Dike, Edward Scissortongue, Dominique Young Unique, Tempa T, Little Simz, Newham Generals, Adian Coker, Kwabs, Elli Ingram, Hawk House, and My Nu Leng.

They join the previously announced names who include Arctic Monkeys, Blink 182, Queens Of The Stone Age, Paramore, Jake Bugg, Disclosure, Metronomy, Of Mice & Men, Wilkinson, The 1975, The Courteeners, You Me At Six, Sbtrkt, Warpaint, Netsky, Annie Mac, Architects, Pusha T, Krept & Konan, Royal Blood, Vampire Weekend, Enter Shikari, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and Bombay Bicycle Club.

Reading Festival takes place at Little Johns Farm, Richfield Avenue, Reading, Berkshire, and Leeds Festival takes place at Bramham Park, Leeds, West Yorkshire with both events happening over the weekend of Friday 22nd to Sunday 24th August 2014.

Weekend tickets are on sale at the price of  £205, plus booking fees, and postage fees will apply per order. Campervan tickets are also on sale priced at £60. Day tickets Friday, Saturday, Sunday £92.50 plus booking fee.
