Taking Back Sunday to headline Merthyr Rock

US rockers Taking Back Sunday lead the first acts to be announced for Merthyr Rock which returns after a year's hiatus for a 3rd year to Cyfarthfa Park, Merthyr Tydfil, in Wales on Sunday 17th August 2014.

The headliners will be appearing as a UK festival exclusive, with fellow Americans Reel Big Fish, and Anti-flag, joined by hometown heroes The Blackout, expect stages showcasing established acts alongside new talent. There will be loads of on-site extras, which will be announced across the summer.

Tickets for Merthyr Rock 2014 are priced at £25 (+ booking fee), and go on sale at 9am tomorrow, Thursday 16th April.
