Peter Hook and the Light will headline Farm Feast happening on the Wirral’s Claremont Farm on Bank Holiday Sunday 25th and Monday 26th May 2014.

Joining them on the  Livestock line-up, the name of the musical strand, an evening festival style party will be Stealing Sheep with other support acts still to be announced.

The festival’s two daytime music stages programmed by Liverpool promoters Mellowtone and The Dovedale, present the Courtyard Stage and Main Stage respectively.

Sunday 25 May will see Beaten Tracks DJs, Emilio Pinchi, Charley Blue, David Hirst, The South Band, The Attic Band, Mikey Kenney, Mike Badger & the Shady Trio , and Rob Vincent (acoustic) grace the Courtyard Stage. The Sunday line up on the Main Stage will feature Rangoon Sons, Roxanne Jones, The Levons, Springtime Anchorage, The City Walls, Rob Vincent, Ottersgear, and Reva.

On Monday 26 May, Main Stage audiences will be entertained by Wirral Ukulele Orchestra, Dominic Dunn, The Ragamuffins, Silent Sleep, Mono LPs, Natalie McCool and Sugarmen, while the Courtyard Stage will play host to The Hazel Empire, Sparkwood & 21, Cousin Jac, Paul Straws, Silent Sleep, (acoustic), Mono LPs (acoustic) and Beaten Tracks DJs.

Previously known as Wirral Food and Drink Festival, this year the event evolves into a fully fledged family festival with two music stages, providing the perfect start to a summer of fun.

Tickets for Livestock (live music) are priced at £15, Livestock is FREE to attend for all under 18s!

A weekend Farm Feast ticket:child £3.75, adult £7.50, family £18, and a Sunday or Monday only ticket: teenager £2.50, adult £5, family £12.

Farm Feast will offer a range of activities and attractions including a Beer and Cider Festival, a 20’s inspired speakeasy-style cocktail bar, a Chilli Festival, a Vintage Village, tea rooms, taster sdessions, workshops, International Food Market, and chef demos from Brendan Lynch, Nisha Katona, Stefan Gates, Adam Franklin, and Dave Critchley.

Other demonstrations will include a master chocolatier demo from The Chocolate Cellar, Cheese Making with The City Cottage and Chorlton Cheese, a Butchery Masterclass from Edge & Son, and a Drinks and Punches Masterclass with cocktail expert Pedro Hunter.

Kids will have their very own Little Feasters area, packed with interactive storytelling, bush craft workshops, cookery lessons and educational fun and games. The Food and Farming Tents will have live animals on show such as calves, pigs and sheep. Plus a birds of prey display, cupcake decorating, pizza making and more.
