Farm Feast will take over Wirral’s Claremont Farm on Bank Holiday Sunday 25th and Monday 26th May 2014.

Farm Feast will feature main and acoustic music stages and a separate night time ‘Livestock’ music event. Two of Liverpool’s best known music promoters programme the daytime stages - Mellowtone and The Dovedale, present the Courtyard Stage and Main Stage respectively.

Tickets for Livestock (live music) are priced at £15, Livestock is FREE to attend for all under 18s!

A weekend Farm Feast ticket:child £3.75, adult £7.50, family £18, and a Sunday or Monday only ticket: teenager £2.50, adult £5, family £12.

Previously known as Wirral Food and Drink Festival, this year the event evolves into a fully fledged family festival with two music stages, providing the perfect start to a summer of fun.

For the grown-ups, Farm Feast will feature a Beer and Cider Festival, with over 40 ales and ciders showcasing the quality and diversity of the region’s brewers. Children will have their very own Little Feasters area, with interactive storytelling, bush craft workshops, cookery lessons and educational fun and games in the food and farming tents.

The Good Life Marquee at Farm Feast will deliver a programme of demonstrations, talks and 'have a go' exhibits where visitors will have a chance to learn skills such as how to make sausages, brew beer and keep bees.

The Chef’s Demo Stage will focus on clever cooking of fresh ingredients by Brendan Lynch, Nisha Katona, Stefan Gates, Adam Franklin, and Dave Critchley, and a selection of traders will deliver a wide variety of street food that will celebrate the colours, flavours and styles of many cultures at an International Street Food Market on site.

Other attractions will include a Chilli Festival including some competitive chilli eating for those feeling brave, and a Vintage Village with , tea rooms, taster sessions, workshops, and International Food Market.

Elements of the old festival are still retained, such as the farmers market, a wide variety of stalls from the region’s top food and drink producers and exhibitors, and the 'sheep show’ will also be back for 2014.

Other demonstrations will include a master chocolatier demo from The Chocolate Cellar, Cheese Making with The City Cottage and Chorlton Cheese, a Butchery Masterclass from Edge & Son, and a Drinks and Punches Masterclass with cocktail expert Pedro Hunter.

Kids will have their very own Little Feasters area, packed with interactive storytelling, bush craft workshops, cookery lessons and educational fun and games. The Food and Farming Tents will have live animals on show such as calves, pigs and sheep. Plus a birds of prey display, cupcake decorating, pizza making and more.

Accommodation

No camping this year but they are considering it for future years. There are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
