Kendal Calling add over 60 new names including Jimi Goodwin, and Frightened Rabbit

with The Membranes, Dario G, Simon & Oscar, Riot Jazz, and more

Jimi Goodwin, Frightened Rabbit, Simon and Oscar (Ocean Colour Scene), Lewis Watson, and Admiral Fallow, lead the latest host of names added to the 'outer space' themed Kendal Calling.

Also confirmed are Black Rivers, Team Me, Norma Jean Martine, Mirror Signal, The Tea Street Band, Champs, Dario G (DJ set), Lauren Aquilina, Lyger, Big Sixes, Etches, Molly Warburton Trio, Gypsy Hill, Smerins Anti-Social Club, John Langan, Talisman, Will Tramp, Drop The Mustard, Zutekh, English Disco Lovers (EDL), Herbal Sessions Soundsystem, Dub Central, The Showhawk Duo, Davos, Lisbon, and The Membranes.

The bill now also includes Skutch Manos, Metisa, Colt 45, MDNGHT, Berlin Berlin, You, $ista $ista, Walk, HoneyFeet, Harlequin Dynamite Marching Band, Skittles & Live Band, Cut Capers, Lauren Housley, Rene, Gypsies of Bohemia, Scatters the Funky Disco Pig, The Grand Old Ukes of Yorkshire , Treedrum, Riot Jazz, The Dakota Jim Band, Taylor Jackson, Charlie Cooper, Thingamebob & The Thingamejigs, From a Window, Buffalo Brothers, The Big Easy, Flamingus, Flavia, The Bear around Your Neck, Whiskey Moon Face, Felix Hagan And The Family, Too Much Love, Salutation Dub Collective, The EME, Dave Rybka, and Xander Smith.

Kendal Calling festival offers array of performance art, comedy and spoken word with decent food, a real ale festival, 'Tim Peaks' Diner curated by Tim Burgess offering Q&A’s, talks, DJs, surprise sets, the dedicated children’s Ladybird Arena and much more.

Now in its ninth year, Kendal Calling is held in the Lake District, over the weekend of Friday 1st to Sunday 3rd August 2014, with early entry available on the Thursday. Kendal Calling returns to the Lowther Deer Park, Hackthorpe, in East Cumbria, and offers multiple stages and areas. The family friendly event offers 3 days of dancing, juggling, contortionists, comedy, site art and much more.

Festival goers can expect eight stages plus performance art, comedy and spoken word with gourmet food, a real ale festival and the dedicated children’s Ladybird Arena.

Weekend tickets are priced at £119 including camping, tickets for children aged 11-15 years priced at £60, with free entry for under 11s.
