East London rapper Dizzee Rascal will headline this summer’s Eden Sessions on Saturday 21st June 2014.

Dizzee, also known as Dylan Mills, released his fifth studio album 'The Fifth' in September last year and it became his fourth consecutive record to peak in the top ten in the UK. The Fifth spawned the top ten singles 'Goin’ Crazy', featuring Robbie Williams, and 'Something Really Bad', featuring will.i.am.

A Sessions ticket entitles the ticket holder to visit the Eden Project either on the day of the concert or the day after. All proceeds from the events will go to the Eden Trust. The full dates of Sessions have not yet been announced.

Rita Broe, Eden's Strategic Marketing Director, said, "Dizzee Rascal is one of the UK’s top urban artists and we’re very excited to be able to confirm him for the Eden Sessions. With more than 10 years at the top of his game, he shows no sign of slowing down and last year’s The Fifth was one of his best records yet."

Dizzee joins Ellie Goulding on the 2014 Eden Sessions bill with more headliners to be announced soon. Ellie will headline a show on Tuesday 8th July.

The Sessions are famed not only for bringing top acts to Cornwall but also for their festival feel, with extra bands and entertainers playing around the site in the run-up to the main event. The event will have three stages featuring some of the best up-and-coming acts playing from early afternoon on each day as well as the headliners.

There is no camping allowed on site, and animals are not permitted.
