Professor Green has stepped in to headline this month's Brownstock Festival

The festival was due to be headlined on Saturday by Rudimental (DJ Set), however on Friday the festival was informed by Rudimental's management that they will not be able to perform at this year's festival, stating, "It is with regret that Rudimental have to cancel their forthcoming appearance at Brownstock. This is through no fault of the promoters of the event, and is due to a major US touring commitment. We are hoping to make it up to everyone in 2014."

Organisers for the festival happening at Morris Farm, Chelmsford, in Essex from Friday 30th August until Sunday 1st September 2013 responded, "We are therefore extremely shocked and disappointed that at such short notice they have taken the decision to play elsewhere during the weekend. This is a decision that was completely out of our control."

Professor Green tops a bill alongside The Fratellis, and DJ Yoda with supporting acts including Mark Ronson (DJ Set), The Pigeon Detectives, Benga and Youngman, Delilah, Devlin, Hadouken!, King Charles, Krafty Kuts, The Milk, Man Get Out, Stealing Signs, Bambi, F.O.X, Creme De Chevre, Grizzly Bears, and Doorly.

Another slight change is that The Cuban Brothers can also not make their show, but will be back next year.

Now in its 9th year the festival for 6,000 visitors is still completely independent and alongside music offers comedy, storytelling, street art camp, skateboarding park, parquour displays, dance tent, a silent disco and the 'Brownstock Sunday Roast'.
