The Darkness to headline Sunday at Y-Not Festival

Sunday headliners The Darkness lead the latest acts revealed for this summer's Y-Not Festival, which takes place from Friday 2nd until Sunday 4th August 2013 near Matlock in Derbyshire.

Also confirmed for the Big Gin Main Stage are Virginmarys, and I Am Giant, added to the Quarry Stage line-up are Dan Croll, Waylayers, and Seasfire, whilst added to The Giant Squid Stage bill are My Preserver, and Scholars.

On Friday The Horrors, headline supported by the Mystery Jets, on Saturday, it's The Cribs, supported by Ash and on Sunday, it's The Darkness, supported by The Enemy.

They top a line-up that includes The 1975, Dan Le Sac Vs Scroobius Pip, Dry the River, Electric Six, Kids in Glass Houses, The Joy Formidable, 65daysofstatic, Dutch Uncles, We Are The Ocean, Three Trapped Tigers, Lewis Watson, We Were Promised Jetpacks, Toy, Stealing Sheep, The Computers, Wet Nuns, Johnny Foreigner, and Max Raptor, expect around 80 acts in total, there are a few additions still to be added to the three main stages.

Still to be announced is the line-up for the Allotment Stage which showcases home-grown talent, this year over 1,700 bands applied and Y Not will offer 20 of them the chance to perform.

The festival, which was founded in 2006, has a capacity of 8,000 people, and aside from the music on two stages, there is a whole host of activities including yoga, African dancing, a pub quiz, dodgems and much more!

The festival attempts to have an intimate nature, with many of the bands camping with festival goers, and friendly stewards. Late night entertainment includes a dance tent, or camp fire singalongs and there will be real ales and local ciders available.
