The Fratellis lead the next wave of bands acts to be confirmed for this summer's Bingley Music Live.

The Fratellis
Joining the Glaswegian indie-rock trio on the bill are Lucy Spraggan, Charlie Brown, The Lake Poets, The Temperance Movement, and The Loveable Rogues.

They join the previously confirmed Primal Scream, The Cribs, The Wonder Stuff, Natasha Haws, Rose & The Howling North, and Holy Moly & the Crackers for the three day outdoor concert which happens in Myrtle Park, Bingley happening from Friday 30th August until Sunday 1st September 2013.

Bradford Council has staged music events of one kind or another at Myrtle Park since 1991. Initially a 3 day event featuring classical, pop and jazz soon became a single day of pop. The event in it's present incarnation began in 2007 and has seen sell out crowds for the past two years.

This year organisers are offering undiscovered, home-grown bands from around the UK an opportunity to perform at Myrtle Park with a main stage and second stage slot up for grabs. Acts from any musical genre are welcome to enter, and applications will be whittled down to a shortlist of 8 artists/bands that will perform in front of a panel of judges at the live final on 31st May 2013 where 4 entrants will be selected to showcase their talents at this year's festival. To enter, download an application form from the website: www.bingleymusiclive.com/emergingtalent.php and return the form no later than 5pm on Friday 26th April 2013.

A weekend ticket is priced at £45 for a weekend ticket. Children's (aged 3-12 years) tickets are priced at £30. There will be free entry to the under 3s. To buy tickets, click here.
