UB40 to headline Weyfest

plus The Wurzels, 3 Bonzos And A Piano, Pylo, True Deceivers, & more

UB40 will headline the Sunday night of Weyfest closing the weekend event held at The Rural Life Centre, Farnham in Surrey from Friday 30th August until Sunday 1st September 2013.

Weyfesters can expect a set of hits including 'One In Ten', 'Kingston Town', 'Red Red Wine', 'I Got You Babe', 'Don't Break My Heart', 'Please Don't Make Me Cry', 'My Way Of Thinking' and more to finish the weekend in style.

Also added to the line-up today are The Wurzels, Three Bonzos And A Piano, Pylo, The True Deceivers, Grizzly & The Grasshoppers, Simon Kent, Circle Of Reason, Mark Nelson, and Caught on the Hop.

The Stranglers headline Friday night, and Echo & The Bunnymen the Saturday. Also confirmed are Toploader, Roachford, Nine Below Zero, Leatherat, Robin Bibi Band, Spank The Monkey, Fake Thackray, Snakecharmer, King King, John Coghlan's Quo, The Strawbs, The Temperance Movement, Merry Hell, John Waterson, Heavy Metal Kids, The Jackie Lynton Band, Japanese Fighting Fish, and Tiny Dragons are also confirmed. The rest of the line-up across four stages is still to be announced.

The festival is run over three days with three outdoor stages plus an indoor acoustic stage. There's also workshops, and on-site camping. Appledram Brewery are expected to return to Weyfest this year to provide a vast range of real ales, ciders, lagers & wines all at reasonable prices.

Apart from the music and museum attractions there will local crafts and stalls plus beer and food tents. Over the many years the festival has been running it has raised thousands of pounds for many charities.

Adult weekend (3 day) ticket £99
Youth (10 - 15 years) weekend (3 day) ticket £40
Adult 2 day ticket £89
Youth (10 - 15 years) 2 day ticket only £35
Child under 10's tickets Free

A 3-day ticket can now be paid for in two instalments, with the first payment £49.50.
