Long Division Festival adds 36 new acts

joining The Fall will be Allo Darlin', Jeffrey Lewis, Sky Larkin, more

The second wave of acts have been confirmed for the Long Division Festival which returns for a third year, and takes place at multiple venues across the city of Wakefield, West Yorkshire from Friday 7th until Sunday 9th June 2013.

The latest additions include Allo Darlin' with Jeffrey Lewis & Peter Stampfel, The History Of Apple Pie, This Many Boyfriends, Sky Larkin, That Fucking Tank, Blacklisters, This Is The Kit, Kid Canaveral, Humanfly, Runaround Kids, Too Many T's, Middleman, Olympic Swimmers, Mark Wynn, New Vinyl, O Messy Life, Harry George Johns, Imp, St Gregory Orange, Above Them, The State Of Georgia, The Birthday Kiss, The Coopers, The Spirit Of John, The Do's, Piskie Sits, The Exhibition, Morain, The Grand, and Aztec Doll also confirmed.

Wolfboy Records will host the day's events at Velvet, including Rosie Doonan, Johnny The Firth, Cry Baby Cry, Witch Hunt, and Rose & The Howling North.

The first acts confirmed were Saturday headliners The Fall, plus Ghostpoet, Howard Marks, Nine Black Alps, RM Hubbert, Ed Tudor Pole, Skint & Demoralised, Dead Sons, Post War Glamour Girls, The Spills, Johnny The Firth, Michael Ainsley, The Matadors, and The Sunbeams.

In total more than 70 acts will be unveiled for Saturday for gigs taking place across 9 venues including 2 stages at The Hop, Wakefield Theatre Royal, Mustangs, The Orangery and Velvet Cocktail Bar.

Tickets are exchanged for wristbands at the start of the day, allowing free access to all participating venues over the course of the event.
