headliners Kraftwerk to bring their 3D show to Norway

German electro pioneering quartet Kraftwerk have been announced as the third headliner for this Norway's Oya festival.

Kraftwerk will be marrying their inimitable and pioneering music with 3D projections and animation whilst airing their electronic music hits including 'Die Roboter', 'Autobahn', 'Trans-Europe Express', and 'Tour de France'.

Also added to the line-up are James Blake, Mount Kimbie, Tame Impala, John Talabot, Rodriguez, Foxygen, Palma Violets, Kaja Gunnufsen, and Carmen Villain.

They join headliners Blur and The Knife, plus Alabama Shakes, Atlanter, Azealia Banks, Disclosure, Jupiter & Okwess International, Kvelertak, Metz, Solange, Slayer, Black Debbath, Blood Command, Electric Wizard, Haim, Angel Haze, Goat, Of Monsters And Men, John Olav Nilsen & Gjengen, Monica Heldal, Danny Brown, Rodriguez, Skaters, Okkultokrati, Sandra Kolstad, Nils Bech, Rebekka Karijold, Truls, and Tønes.

Oya Festival takes place in the Medieval Park, the place where the capital of Norway was founded a thousand years ago, and is located in Gamlebyen, the oldest part of Oslo, in Norway, happening from Tuesday 6th until Saturday 10th August 2013.

The 60,000 capacity event is set within an area of trees, green grass and water, and well equipped with stages, shopping streets and small shops serving food and drink. Festival goers can swim from one stage to another or take a short walk to the city centre of Oslo.

Øya is the most environmentally friendly festival in the country, boasting 100% ecological food and green ethics.
