Øya festival is the largest outdoor music festival in Oslo, Norway and promotes a diverse line up from across the globe. Returning for its 11th year, Oya Festival takes place in the Medieval Park, which is located in Gamlebyen, the oldest part of Oslo from Tuesday 6th until Saturday 10th August 2013.

Line-up

The latest acts confirmed are Wu-Tang Clan, Kendrick Lamar, Lady, Konono No1, Andre Bratten, Alfred Hall, Hvitmalt Gjerde, Merchandise, The Staves, and Michael Cronin.

They join headliners Blur, Kraftwerk, and The Knife, plus Alabama Shakes, Atlanter, Azealia Banks, Local Natives, Blood Tsunami, Bendik Brænne, Foxygen, Palma Violets, Disclosure, Jupiter & Okwess International, Rodriguez, James Blake, John Talabot, Mount Kimbie, Metz, Solange, Slayer, Beach House, Kendrick Lamar, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, King Krule, Niko Valkeapää, Haraball, Thea & The Wild, Local Natives, Supersilent feat. Camping

There is camping available nearby at Ekeberg Camping and the festival site is a ten minute walk from Oslo Central Station.

On site

Amidst the festival area of trees, green grass and water, the festival is well equipped with stages, shopping streets and small shops serving food and drink. Festival goers can swim from one stage to another or take a short walk to the city centre of Oslo.
