Kiss have been confirmed for next year's Sweden Rock Festival.

Kiss will bring their 'Monster' tour to Sweden to headline Thursday, with Amon Amarth, UFO, Morgana Lefay, and The Scams also recently added to the bill.

Making their first appearance at a European festival in 33 years Rush will headline on Saturday with Status Quo, Krokus, Demon, Amaranthe, Witchcraft, Axxis, and Huntress, also confirmed.

Their show at Sweden Rock Festival will be the only festival appearance in Europe, and the band's first festival appearance since they played at Pinkpop in Holland in 1979. Rush will bring their full stage production to Sweden Rock.

Sweden Rock Festival takes place from Wednesday 5th until Saturday 8th June 2013, in the northern Swedish town of Solvesborg.

Four day tickets are priced at 2490,00 kr (approx £235). Three day tickets for Thursday to Saturday are priced at 2290,00 kr (approx £215). To buy tickets click here.

It is free entry for children under 13 years of age in the company of a guardian, although it the festival does not recommend that infants attend.
