Sweden Rock Festival, the heavy rock festival returns to the northern town of Solvesborg in Sweden from Wednesday 5th until Saturday 8th June 2013.

Line-up

The latest additions are Rick Springfield, At The Gates, Black Star Riders, Devin Townsend Project, and The Sweet.

They join headliners Rush, Kiss, and Europe, as well as Status Quo, Saxon, Accept, Candlemass, Amon Amarth, Sonata Arctica, Leningrad Cowboys, Raubtier, Doro, Paradise Lost, Asia, Survivor, Europe, Five Finger Death Punch, Kreator, Hypocrisy, Satan, Nine Below Zero, Martin Prahl's Skelter Wheel, Threshold, Firewind, Hardline, Jon English, Bullet, Vader, Tankard, Manilla Road, Naglfar, Crazy Lixx, Ihsahn, Civil War, Audrey Horne, Sister Sin, Leprous, Krokus, Demon, Amaranthe, Witchcraft, Amon Amarth, UFO, Morgana LeFay, The Scams, Axxis, and Huntress. Tickets

Four day tickets have sold out. Three day tickets for Thursday to Saturday are priced at 2290,00 kr (approx £215). To buy tickets click here.

It is free entry for children under 13 years of age in the company of a guardian, although it the festival does not recommend that infants attend.

Camping

The camping site will again be located approximately 900 meters from the festival area, west of Norje village. The Camping sites have different zones which are divided by fire breaks. Tents are not permitted in the fire breaks and will be removed.

Note

Furniture, mattresses etc are not allowed at the camping sites, however regular fold up camping chairs are. No vehicles are allowed at the camping sites, and any kind of open fire is forbidden, there are marked areas where festival goers can cook.

Alcohol and glass bottles are only allowed outside the festival area, there are bars in the arenas. Plastic bottles must be empty when entering the area, there are water post to fill them up in the arena.

Getting there

There are charter flights, as well as rail links to Sweden. From Stockholm there are transfers to Solvesborg airport, and buses running to the festival from both the train station and the airport.
