Joining them both at this small intimate festival which is geared towards entertaining the local community will be Kassidy, Rachel Sermanni, The Staves, Public Service Broadcasting, Anderson McGinty Webster Ward and Fisher, Miniature Dinosaurs, Brown Bear & The Bandits, and local act The Naked Strangers.
Festival organiser Robert Hicks said, "We're so pleased to have a secured a long overdue return to the North of Scouting For Girls who we know will bring the festival to a rousing, loud, singalong finale. Rachel Sermanni will be a highlight, having watched her career blossom over the past two years now to return on the week of her debut album release will be quite something. Then also The Staves. Simply wonderful. We can't wait!"
They join previously announced and recently reformed headliners The Fratellis on the bill. Also previously confirmed for the festival which returns for its eighth outing tare Jake Bugg, The Dangleberries, Lilygreen & Maguire, and Manran.
Situated in the pretty little fishing village of Ullapool on the shores Loch Broom Loopallu has activities for all ages in addition to the music. The festival also offers local food and drink along with fringe events throughout the village.
Tickets are priced at £60 without camping, or £75 with weekend camping, and caravan tickets are priced at £25. Under-12s are free, though everyone under 16 needs to be accompanied by an adult.
