Salty Dog and Trenchtown acts revealed

More acts have been unveiled for the Salty Dog and Trenchtown line-ups at Ireland's Electric Picnic happening from Friday 31st August to Sunday 2nd September at Stradbally Hall Estate, Co Laois.

The new acts for The Salty Dog stage, the pirate ship beached out in the woods will include a performance from Bellowhead, plus The Louisiana Six, Carousel, Ham SandwicH, Shannon and The Shortcuts, Homebrew And The Bad Examples, Swords, Pervish, The Cujo Family, Huey And The Hobgoblins, The Mighty Stef, Jerry Fish, Black Friday, Gary's Dead Zoo, The Camembert Quartet, No Crows, Propellor Palms, Hat Fitz and Cara Robinson, Bronagh Gallagher, Tieranniesaur, The BaRLey Mob, Beef Supreme, Shane Hennessy, The Eskies, Pete Pamf, Morton Valence, Will Dempsey, Fox.E & The Good Hands, Gypsy Rebel Rabble, Fred, The Cracked Bucket Band, Simon Spoons, and Lois & The Love.

Whilst reggae village of Trenchtown will celebrate 50 years of Jamaica's independence 2012 in true 'Yard' style with live music, sound systems, dance, art, performance, food and film in the on-site cinema with a line-up the features DJ Soundcheck , DJ Bibi Ewa, Avatar, DJ Two, The Bionic Rats, DJ Kali, Jamerie, DJ Cian Finn, Dub Investigation, Revelation Sound, Titove, Roots Factory, Weedway, DJ Will Softly, Trenchtown, DJ Ram, The BaRLey Mob, The Pressure Drop Sound, The Explojans, Ramon Judah & Dubhunter, Dirty Dubsters, Ancient Babies, The Reggulators, DJ Rootsman Wurzel, The Pressure Drop, Irie Ireland DJs, Kool Deroy, DJ Ras Tinny, Skazz, Crazy D & Irish All, Floyd, and Worries Outernational.

As well as loads of comedy, spoken world, a range of stages, lots of site art and many areas to explore with plenty of catering options and all the normal facilities you'd expect at a festival, and an an emphasis on eco-friendly initiatives.

Tickets are priced at 230 euros for an adult weekend or family weekend ticket. Sunday tickets are priced at 99.50 euros and Campervan tickets are priced at 60 euros.
