Maverick Sabre to headline Guernsey Festival

Maverick Sabre has been announced as the final Main Stage headliner at The Rabbit Warren on the Saturday of this year's Guernsey Festival of Performing Arts.

Also appearing on Saturday on the Main Stage will be I am Tich, and on the Second Stage on Sunday will be Vida and on Saturday Guernsey's own Last of the Light Brigade, and China Aster.

Shy FX & Stamina has been announced for the Fusion Nightclub Dance Arena on the Sunday. More announcements for Saturday will showcase Guernsey talent with appearances from Infectious Rhythm DJs Tom Brock, Leon Robertson & Gezzie along with Karl Cicmic, while Sunday will also see D-Bridge, (featuring SP:MC), Hydro & Pressure, and Killa perform.

The two-day event now in its second year will take place on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th June 2012 at The Rabbit Warren, Victoria Avenue, St Sampson on Guernsey, in the Channel Islands.

Festival organiser Paul Stephen said, "We couldn't be more excited about having him round-off the Saturday. Our overall aim is that there is something for everybody and we feel Maverick Sabre is a huge step towards this goal."

The festival will play host to 80+ acts over 4 stages. Previously confirmed Macy Gray and Kaiser Chiefs will headline, with Hadouken!, Delilah, The Charlatans, Daniela Brooker, Friction, Utah Saints, Micky Slim, The Squatters, King Charles, Kassidy, General Fiasco, Albert Lee, Josh Kumra, The Selecter, Little Barrie, Kitten And The Hip, Mason, JFB, Sir Spyro, Dazzle, Sam Wire, DJ Wrongtom feat Deemas J & Limey Banton, Lloyd Yates, Mt. Wolf, Courage Have Courage, Raising Maisie, The Electric Stars, San Jyla, Dom Duff, Starseed, The Spindle Sect, In Tyler We Trust, Master And Dog, and Gregs Greats, also confirmed.

A children's weekend ticket is priced at £25, juniors at £65 and adults at £85. There are also a limited number of VIP tickets available priced at £185 for the weekend.
