Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, and Chase & Status to top Jersey Live

Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, and Chase & Status have been announced as this year's headliners at Jersey Live Festival.

The dates for the ninth Jersey Live sponsored once again by JT will be Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd September 2012 subject to the organisers gaining the bailiff's permission. The site's opening and closing hours are midday to midnight on Saturday and midday to 11pm on Sunday.

On Saturday the Main Stage will be headlined by dance heavyweights Chase & Status who return after performing lower down the bill at Jersey Live 2010.

Sunday night's headliner will be Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, the solo vehicle of the legendary Oasis guitarist and songwriter.

Other acts performing on the Main Stage over the festival weekend are Primal Scream who take to the stage before Noel, plus Professor Green, Devlin, and Maverick Sabre on Saturday, with The Stranglers also confirmed.

The festival will have four main stages: The Main Stage hosting the main acts; The Dance Arena, which will host DJs and producers. The Tease Stage is a themed stage featuring a mix of local and international artists, as well as a fancy dress stall and games; The JT Stage hosts an array of local and international artists, and provides a more chilled-out area.

The festival is also furnished with bars, a food village, arts and crafts stalls, a funfair, and a daily capacity of 10,000.

Jersey Live co-organiser Warren Le Sueur said, "What a pair of headliners! There’s not an awful lot I can add about Noel that people don't already know; he’s a certified godlike genius, and he’ll be playing a whole load of new music and classic Oasis songs; it’s going to be very, very special! Chase & Status were just amazing here back in 2010 and they’ve gone on to become even bigger and better. We’ve got a history of having big dance acts occupying the Saturday night headline slot on the Main Stage including Basement Jaxx and Groove Armada in previous years, and C&S are the perfect fit."

The Jerseylive Festival is an indie/dance festival staged in the Royal Jersey Showgrounds, Jersey, in the Channel Islands, off the coast of France.

Tickets go on general sale on Saturday 26th May priced at £92 for Standard (Age 16+) weekend tickets.
