The Tallest Man On Earth, The Bees, and The Staves, lead the latest additions to the line-up at this summer's The Green Man Festival taking place at Glanusk Park, Usk Valley, Powys, in Wales from Friday 17th to Sunday 19th August 2012.

The first acts have also been revealed for Chai Wallahs Bedouin marquee stage which will serve food and drink, whilst over 40 bands and DJs play including Cate Ferris, Cheeba, Cocos Lovers, Dizraeli and the Small Gods, Dom James and his Dixie Ticklers, Gabby Young and Other Animals, Hidden Orchestra, Joe Driscoll & Seckou Kouyate, King Porter Stomp, Lund Quartet, Mankala, Nuala Honan, Nuru Kane, DJ Parker, Pat Dam Smyth, Phillip Henry and Hannah Martin, Rodney Branigan, Sheelanagig, Smerins Anti-Social Club, Tako Lako, The Urban Folk Quartet, and Yes Sir Boss.

Hosting three stages of theatre, music, art and crafts Einstein's Garden will offer over 60 eye-opening performances fusing science and nature in a fun and informative way at this summer's Green Man Festival. These include Channel 4′s 'Inside Nature's Giants' with presenter Simon Watt taking a look at some of the fascinating science that didn't make the final cut with 'Dissections Uncut'.

Rosie Wilby will reprise her show investigating the science of attraction, sexual chemistry and sexual identity in 'The Science Of Sex'. As well as acts Lori Campbell, and Bronze Medallists.

MJ Hibbett, and The Validators bring a science fiction rock opera 'Dinosaur Planet' featuring songs, jokes, giant robots, explosions, the hornpipe, and the total obliteration of Peterborough.

A comedy event, starring real scientists involving a cast of professional comedians and specially-trained scientists called 'Bright Club', and 'A Supercollider For The Family' Ben Moor revives his solo show from 1997 mixing particle physics with romance in an absorbing tale of tightrope walking, 
international espionage and ludicrous puns with the original score played live by members of Suns of the Tundra.

Feist and Van Morrison are confirmed as headliners. Other confirmed acts include The Walkmen, The Felice Brothers, Yann Tiersen, Jonathan Richman, Junior Boys, Damien Jurado, Time and Space Machine, Cass McCombs, Scritti Politti, Slow Club, GhostPoet, Peter Paphides, Peaking Lights, Dark Dark Dark, Cashier No 9, The Wave Pictures, Islet, Rocketnumbernine, Daughter, Bowerbirds, Beth Jeans Houghton, Megafaun, Psychemagik (DJ set), Richard Norris, Jamie N Commons, Joe Pug, Nick Mulvey, RM Hubbert, Tiny Ruins, Alt-J, Teeth of the Sea, The Perch Creek Family Jug Band, Richard Warren, Goodnight Lenin, Sweet Baboo, and Alaska.

More acts are yet to be announced for the festival which takes place annually at Glanusk Park, Usk Valley, Powys, Wales. The dates for The Green Man Festival 2012 are confirmed as from Friday 17th to Sunday 19th August 2012.

The Green Man Festival is a four day event with three days of music and more than 100 acts playing indie, psychedelia, Americana, and folk across 5 stages, while DJs playing everything from psychedlia, dub-reggae, modern electro and stoner rock right through the night.

Literature, film, theatre, ceilidhs, all-night bonfires, comedy and secret gigs are part of the festival's identity. The festival has carved a niche as a non-corporate and ethically-minded festival.

Ticket are priced at £145 for adults, £125 for students, £75 for teenagers, and £5 for children aged 5 and under. A live-in vehicle ticket will be priced at £60, and holiday tickets (bought in addition to a weekend ticket, allowing camping at Glanusk Park from Monday 13th August for 3 days before the festival opens) will be priced at £40. A resident day ticket will be priced at £50.
