The Go! Team lead first acts for LodeStar

The Go! Team top the first acts to be announced for this year's LodeStar Festival which takes place from Friday 31st August to Sunday 2nd September at Lode in Cambridge.

Other acts announced are Michele Stodart, Animal Kingdom, Frankie Rose, Ryan Keen , Karima Francis, The Rocket Dolls, Inouwee, Glass Pear, and Dead Wolf Club.

Festival Director Doug Durrant has revealed a slice of what's on offer for LodeStar saying, "This unique independent festival provides an alternative platform for headline quality acts from around the world. Held on vast flat fenland over 3 days in Summer, LodeStar exceeded all expectations in 2011 and attendance has tripled year on year."

The festival offers 3 days and 3 nights to enjoy the line up of hot new acts and this year there's a bigger mix of genres, late night DJs, comedians, theatre, circus acts, burlesque, market stalls including vintage clothing, food, and camping area.

A tiered early bird offer ticket including camping and parking is priced at £45 for adults, £37 for youths (aged 15-17 years), and free for children aged under 14 years (tickets still must be booked online & under 14s must be accompanied by an adult). Free camping & campervan/caravan space when you buy a 3 day ticket. Day tickets are also available (prices include parking but not camping) an adult day ticket is priced at £18 for Friday, Saturday £20, or Sunday £15, 15-17 yr olds from £12 per day, and children aged 14 yrs and under free.
