LodeStar Festival 2012 takes place from Friday 31st August to Sunday 2nd September, happening at Lode in Cambridge.

The festival offers 3 days and 3 nights to enjoy the line up of hot new acts and this year there's a bigger mix of genres, late night DJs, comedians, theatre, circus acts, burlesque, market stalls including vintage clothing, food, and camping area.

Line-up

The latest acts confirmed are Katzenjammer, BIGkids, and Amanda Mair.

They join Saturday headliner Bob Geldof, plus The Go! Team, Michele Stodart, Animal Kingdom, Frankie Rose, Ryan Keen, Karima Francis, The Rocket Dolls, Inouwee, Glass Pear, and Dead Wolf Club.

Tickets

A tiered early bird offer ticket including camping and parking is priced at £45 for adults, £37 for youths (aged 15-17 years), and free for children aged under 14 years (tickets still must be booked online & under 14s must be accompanied by an adult). Free camping & campervan/caravan space when you buy a 3 day ticket. Day tickets are also available (prices include parking but not camping) an adult day ticket is priced at £18 for Friday, Saturday £20, or Sunday £15, 15-17 yr olds from £12 per day, and children aged 14 yrs and under free. Highlights of the festival include the non music activities which include everything from zorbing to archery, and there is also a large camping area with a catering marquee where acoustic sets are held to create a chilled vibe after the main stages are closed.
